Here is a short video of HBO bumps from around December 1980 (I believe). This features:

6. Next On for Paris Cabaret (there was only a bit of it, but it was, um, "revealing".)

That was a bit before my time (I was born in 1984 and don't remember them being used in my house), but I'm sure it must've been a fun memory.

I love the shot of the guy turning the dial on his cable box. Remember when we had to do that? Ours would also make a "clunk-clunk-clunk" sound as you passed each channel.
