Personally,I´m a bit shocked by these ever ongoing hate attacks towards Jimmy Carter.I know he didn´t excactly serve as president in America´s tricky times,but at least he had real ideals,maybe he just couldn´t realise most of them,and he probably would´ve been assasinated if he´d pushed them through,but after him,things got really freaky on a world´s scale.He got accused for not solving what neither president after him has not been able to solve!I only see more confusion ever since!

"The countries that they created in the 1920s"? Then who were those guys that came to power after WWI? The problem is all the people of the mid-east have ever known for 1400 years is warlord governments. Who's running Syria, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Lybia, Pakistan. Other nations there just trade in one dictator after another. What Jimmy forgot was you cannot deal with a dictator. Look at how these "leaders" treat their own and remember Lord Acton's cautionary observation!
