Lethwei compilation

a compilation of Lethwei fights (a fighting art that's basically Muay Thai with headbutts).
Lethwei is an empty hand combat system, which means fighters do not wear gloves. Another thing that separates it from modern Muay Thai is the fact, that takedowns are much more common and more kinds of them are allowed.

these guys would've dominated ufc in their weight class...but that will propably never happen..ufc wouldnt allow them to participate...i dont blame them..these guys are uncontrolable..good luck trying to bring them to submission or ground fighting..i mean god..they can take the pain and keep on going without gloves on..ufc would've looked like dinseyland to them LOL

@paladindarknite Oh please, don't bore me with that shit. Muay Thai is the sport variant of the regional Muay Boran Styles from Thailand (Korat, Chaiya etc). And Muay Boran was created from Krabi Krabong (A Thai weapons martial art) which was used in warfare. Sure all styles are similar, but when you look at it, Burma stole from Thailand, if you can't beat them, join them ;)

@dpapaioannow idk if you think i'm knocking this sport with it's rules or anything, but i have nothing against the sport. I enjoy the sport. it's simply my opinion that a lot of these fighters would do well against an MMA champion from UFC or Strikeforce if they MMA champion came to fight under these rules.

@dpapaioannow Youre roused up for nothing. the point i'm making is that what separates this from UFC is the rules, that's the fact part. The opinion part is that a champion like GSP would beat one of these fighters under any rules with both fighters being subject to the same rules. If both fighters were allowed to headbutt GSP would only have to take a while to train with those rules in mind and then he'd win the fight. If it were under UFC rules, same. My opinion, you dont' have to agree.

@royallighting7 let me repeat that again...in the old ways,you have NO GLOVES you have NO ROUNDS guy who goes to sleep first or cant continue anymore loses,headbutts are allowed,hits(of any kind)to the back of the head are allowed,hits to the spine(of any kind)are allowed...FUCKING BITTING IS ALLOWED...its brutal,merciless,bloody and CHAOTIC,the way real fights are...no ufc fighter with half a brain would even dare face one of this guys in his weight class,his gonna get FUCKED UP...PERIOD
