Ken Foster and the pit bulls of New Orleans

To celebrate the publication of my book Dogs I Have Met, I invited the pit bulls of New Orleans to join me for a party featuring The Hot 8 Brass Band and an exhibit from Animal Farm Foundation. Among the dogs you will meet: Dag and Trap Jack, both also featured in the book "Dogs I Have Met."

Keep up with the good work! Pit bulls are sweethearts! I'm glad you guys are working to save this breed! When you're looking to raise a dog as a family friendly dog, pit bulls are one of the best choices. They're kissing machines and happy-go-lucky dogs when they're in the hands of the right owners.

Good video... even greater books. Having read "the dogs who found me" I finally received as a gift "dogs I have met" and am engrossed in it now. Great ambassador for "our" breed. Thanks Ken.

Contrary to popular opinion, Pit Bulls are the best most loving breed of dog on the planet. I didn't even want a dog but my husband and I got a Pit 22 years ago and have owned them ever since, I wouldn't even think of getting another breed. Our current dog lives with us part time in New Orleans, sorry we missed the party! And, no offense, he's way cuter than any of the Pits in the video!
