Graham Rahal car was wiggling big time starting from turn 4 all the way to turn 2 where he spun collecting E.J. Viso. Just as both came down the track they took out Milka Duno as she tried to avoid the accident.

  • @Villeneuve27 Well, a couple of yellows looked a bit suspicious over the last few years(can't recall of any blatent case in 2011, but that might just be because the crash rate has been really high).

Now of course you can never check the "debris" by yourself as a TV viewer...

  • @Sirradal Formula Vee. It's an inexpensive, Volkswagen-powered open wheel car.

  • NASCAR abused that flag ALOT at one race. I don't remember which one, but I know they threw it about 3 times. For 'air on the track'.

  • @Sirradal They did this time. This was actually the first time they ever did it though. Ryna Briscoe had lapped the whole field up to third place, so I guess they had to do something.......

  • WOW! The IRL deploys 'Phantom Yellows' also?!

  • Who's NHL?

  • What's an FV driver?

  • this is the race that Briscoe lapped the field and the league threw the phantom yellow to bring 'em back together.

  • @pilot339. I stood in the esses @ midohio listening to her drive by. She was snapping off the throttle mid-corner, a basic driving mistake that my racing instructor would have chastized me for. I'm up for your 'me vs. Duno challenge'. There are mid-pack FV drivers local to me who could put 3 secs per lap on Milka around any road course in the same car.

  • @Tiger31193

I went to the mid-ohio race and I spoke with his engineers and they said they didn't know what went wrong so it didn't seeem like some kind of mechanical failure at tleast one that they could tell so who knows.
