We begin the game in the Isshu region... I pick the girl because, girls are better! Also, the pictures are mostly found on safebooru or deviantart. Yes, I chose Bacon Bits, Porky Pig, Pork n' Beans for my starter pokemon. Q. What do you use to record / how do you record?
A. I downloaded the lossless codec 1.4 from the internet and in the emulator itself, I select from the file menu [Record Avi] and select the lossless codec and create a file, I go back into file menu and cease recording to complete the file.

Q. How did you get the emulator 0.9.5 or 0.9.6 to run so smoothly at normal speed?
A. I didn't, it still lags but I'm recording avi from the menu, it captures every frame and creates a normal looking speed file.

Professor Araragi (アララギ博士)
Professor Araragi is the Professor of the Isshu region. Living in the same town as you, Cheren (チェレン) and Belle (ベル), she will give you a present for you and your friends containing your starter Pokémon in addition to the starter Pokémon for Belle & Cheren.
After you have got your Starter Pokémon, she will request for you to see all the Pokémon within Isshu. She'll crop up throughout the game to give you advice.

Kanako Town カノコタウン
The first town you'll be in in Isshu is Kanoka Town. This town is the dwelling of you, Belle, Cheren and Professor Araragi and is where you begin your journey. It is connected to Route 1 and is on the coast in the south-east of the Isshu region. You get your starter Pokémon here

Isn't it great that after you pick your pokemon, you get to try it out immedietely against your friends... ashame about your room getting trashed though during the pokemon battle. Regardles of circumstances, it seems you gotta go here and there to activate events, talk to that person, walk this way, join the group as you all travel north. etc.

Pokémon Black Version and White Version (ポケットモンスターブラック・ホワイト, Poketto Monsutā Burakku & Howaito?, "Pocket Monsters: Black & White") comprise of the fifth generation of the core Pokémon series of RPGs.[4] Prior to its release, a total of 30 new Pokémon were officially announced, two of which debuted in the thirteenth Pokémon film in Japanese theaters on July 10, 2010.The games were released on September 18, 2010, in Japan. The games will be released outside Japan in the second quarter of 2011. As of August 2010[update], Black and White are the fastest DS games to reach one million consumer pre-orders in Japan.

Pokémon Black & White take place within the new Isshu Region (イッシュ地方). Isshu is far away from the regions of Sinnoh, Johto, Kanto and even Hoenn and can only be accessed by boat or aeroplane. Isshu is far more industrialised than the other regions and as such, is more vastly populated. Below are details of all areas known.

Like previous Pokémon games, Black and White follow the journey of a Pokémon trainer as he/she trains and battles Pokémon to compete in Gyms and defeating the Elite Four, while destroying the evil plans of a criminal organization, in this case, Team Plasma. The players in these games, however, are teenagers, instead of young children in previous games. The games are independent of each other but feature largely the same plot and, while both can be played separately, it is necessary to trade between them in order to complete the games' Pokédexes.

Development
On January 29, 2010, the Pokémon Company announced that a new game was in development for the Nintendo DS to be released later that year. Director Junichi Masuda stated that several aspects of the series were being revamped for the new generation.

Does any body knows how to get a girl starter pokemon? Cause i've been trying to get one

@late1911 When starting up a new game, you have a 15% chance or so to get a female starter. So you either need to keep trying until you get it or just get a male and move on. Alternatively, you could save time with a cheat device like code breaker or gameshark.
