And Jesus allowed to worship himself in his visible form.

Also it was said that Jesus was the image of God himself. He says who saw me, saw the Father.

God comanded Moses and Aron to make a tabernacle and arc of covenant with the images of angels on it, and priest and people to worship it.

So is the use of icons any different than the use of fake speaking in tongues and the thinking that your pastors are miracles. i won't judge your church if you won't judge mine.

we are both part of the original Apostolic church, we are brothers.

No but you kiss the icons perhaps thinking those Icons are the saints themselves or is it symbolic? And is symbolism permitted broadly in christianity?

I'll try to visit one day the Orthodox church in Manila.

It is idolatry if they are worshipping the idols, but they are not. So as we catholics. Good day brothers and sisters in the orthodox faith. Your churches are really great. Praise God Hallelujah! :)

2 things: one, God Himself ordered the making of images and two, if God did so, then the obvious point of the Second Commandment is not to make images of false gods, not the making of images per se. The Second Commandment is connected with the First--not to have any other God but Himself.
So then, does this mean that the holy icons are images of false gods? Not unless one thinks that Jesus Himself is a false god, since we do have icons of Him as well as the saints.
