@costi101 That hole is called a siphon jet (or sometimes vortex jet). However, its function on this toilet is different than most others. This toilet has what's called a "blowout flush". That means that the water that comes out of that hole pushes both the waste and the water out of the bowl, which is why the water level drops directly from the start of the flush. On most other toilets, the siphon jet is used simply to start the "sucking-like" action that most other toilets use.

I have a Kohler Wellworth Lite, and it is horrible. With the original fluidmaster, it flushed 5 times, and then we got a new one, and it STILL flushed 5 times. We got another one, and now it flushes 3 times.

@CRANEPlumbing In response to JLA12301985's comment- YOU obviously don't know much about toilets then because this toilet is definitely not a pressure assist toilet..go do some research.

Nothing bizarre here. You can hold the handle down to ensure a complete flush which is just an adjustment that could be made in the tank, or the preference of the owner. It is just your typical Wellworth lite. This series is all the same

oh this is horible
These toilets are pieces of shit! They clog very frequently and easily. If you move into a place that has this toilet, replace it immediately with an American Standard Champion 4 toilet.

The trap design looks like alot of the really old toilets. You know with the siphon jet in the middle?
