  • @KVFDbyrd252. i love it when ppl talk like they know it all, w/ bold comments such as "real engines or rigs use this..." or "real engines or rigs do that...". There is no definition what a "real engine" is. Yes, the Powercall isn't a "traditional" sound, but that's part of why its effective @ getting attention. BTW, I never said that all apparatus use powercalls; I said that a lot of trucks have them (or the "warble") & never ruled out other sirens like the pa300 (which my dept uses w/ the Q)
