Here's WHY George Soros could so confidently bet that the value of the US Dollar would crash.
What was Rahm Emanuel's response to the "news" of the lending crisis, the crisis that triggered the present recession, the recession that may have already put you out of work?
He said, "Never let a crisis go to waste."
Think about this "Financial Crisis." Now think CPC, the Congressional "PROGRESSIVE" Caucus in the US House of Representatives.
Here's WHY "Republican" Ron Paul could so confidently "predict" the lending (sub prime) crisis.
BECAUSE THEY KNEW! He and SOROS were IN ON IT. They were PART OF IT. This "crisis" was planned and carried out by the Socialist International, THE "worldwide communist movement" the "conspiracy" that I have been ranting about for over a year
Remember Andrew CLOWARD and Francis Fox PIVEN? Rudy Guiliani, former mayor of New York City knows what the "Strategy of Orchestrated Crisis" is! It almost bankrupted the city of New York!
"ACORN" is the old "National Welfare Rights Organization" from the 1970's! Remember the 70's? Remember the Vietnam protest era, Jane Fonda, Tom Hayden and John Kerry?

THIS IS RACKETEERING! All these cruds can be prosecuted under RICO. I say, nail their asses, nail them now. And don't forget Soros. It's spelled S-o-r-o-s!!
Absolutely right! Ron Paul attempted to use the crisis to push his agenda against the Fed. Whether we should be rid of the Fed is immaterial as he dishonestly tried to place the blame elsewhere to gain support for his personal agenda.
This is exactly what Obama pulls all the time and it doesn't matter whether it's Obama or Ron Paul, we don't need assholes like that in DC.

Your problem is that you lump everyone who supports Ron Paul together. I don't subscribe to the 9/11 Truth Movement, I'm no big fan of Alex Jones, and I've never paid any attention to the Socialist International or pretty much any other group. I am an independent politically and intellectually. Like I said before, I never heard of Ron Paul before the debates. I was impressed by the truth of his arguments, something you seem unable to grasp, and that is not a trick. You're on the wrong path.

Re: the debates. Would you have heard of Ron Paul if there had been no 911 Truth Movement? Would you have heard of Ron Paul if thousands of members of the worldwide Socialist International had not spammed the Internet? Truth is, the campaign was trick. You and thousands of others were tricked.
You were kidnapped -- psychologically. And now you will go to your graves defending your kidnappers from people like me. Yes, its sad. Its a tragedy.

I heard about Ron Paul during the debates, not from Alex Jones. Trevor Lyman learned about Ron Paul during the debates. Millions of us learned about Ron Paul simple because he ran for President and participated in the debates. Now you want to smear him because he associates with others who, like him, demand less gov, not more. If given a chance, I would also smear Bush, and so would millions of others. What dos that make us, anti-American? Rubbish. Your attacks are absolutely without merit.

Re: "Outlandish, rubbish, nonsense, not true." Ron Paul chose Lew Rockwell to serve as his Chief of Staff. Rockwell is a self-professed anarchist.
Ron Paul does INDEED owe his notoriety to the 911 Truth Movement. Without Alex Jones he would be an UNKNOWN. Alex Jones has a record of smear attacks on George W. Bush. Response?

(continued) Sure, the abundance of easy credit made the lending bubble POSSIBLE but that is not the same as CAUSING it. I know that the Fed's policies have created investment bubbles but the Fed can only try to put out the fires CAUSED BY Congrssional OVER-SPENDING. Thus, its the Congress that is harming the value of the US Dollar, not the Fed.

Let the record show that the TRUE Republicans warned "about this crap" over and over. AND they voted unanimously in committee (about 2007, maybe 2008) to put the GSEs under tighter regulation. The Dems filibustered and the bill was defeated. Ron Paul is aware of all of this. Yet he (falsely) blames ALLEN GREENSPAN for keeping interest rates low (during a time when inflation was zero and the economy needed a boost.)

Ron Paul wasn't in Congress in 1977. He had nothing to do with any of this crap. Since he has been in Congress he has voted against any legislation that even remotely smells unconstitutional. Your biggest gripe is that he pretends to know about the sub-prime mess. He warned about this crap over and over. That's not pretending. Where in the world do you come up with this outlandish rubbish about Ron Paul?! It's nonsense, and you know it's not true.

The lending crisis started with the Community Reinvestment Act signed by Jimmy Carter in 1977. Bill Clinton signed an Executive Order that required banks to lend specifically to inner city Negros. ACORN located and advised low-income borrowers -- recruited them -- to exploit CRA. Fannie and Freddie bought these toxic mortgages, repackaged them as securities and sold them to investors, many of which were foreigners.
Ron Paul PRETENDS to know all about the sub-prime mess. He's an fake.
