My Halloween costume for 2009. Inspired by Frankenstein's monster (especially the version from VanHelsing), Johann Krauss from Hellboy II, and the steampunk style of mixing old with new. I used a fresnel lens to magnify my head.

  • Nice - lovel the fresnel lens - but beware of neighbor kids with laser pointers!

  • I have a feeling that laser pointers could do damage with or without the lens, but this might make it more tempting for them. They will know the wrath of my claw!

  • Great costume!

It would look even cooler if you dirtied it up a bit.

  • I agree. If I can figure out how to make the silver parts look rusty, I will dirty up the head box for sure.

  • @uberfy scaryladyvideos - Grime up Halloween props

  • @TheDash2000 Thanks for the heads up. I'm working on griming up the costume now, and sewing some new clothing to wear instead of the blue jump suit. So far so good. The copper looks all green and rusty now. Next step: rust up the silver metal parts.

  • that is amazing great work must have took ages to complete that

  • Great costum

  • Hi, UberFy :)

You obviously put a ton of work and originality into your costume. I'm impressed. My vote goes to you. It was close, but I chose you because your costume is not a copy or version of a known character.

Congratulations on making it to the Top Two.

    Lay chilly, dood :)

  • Well done!!!

  • Thanks for commenting on my costume, but WOW yours is freaking AWESOME! I'm more of a cardboard and tape kind of guy. Maybe one day I'll switch to PVC plastic and paint for future costumes, haha.

  • thats pretty freaky :P well done!
