It a good thing hunters have created a market for non-farm animals - such as these antelope. They were almost gone from the S.Afrrican landscape until farmers discovered they were worth more as game that the farm animals and crops they could grow. Holier than thou Disney types think the farm animals are less alive or it's more dignified? Whats worse, fair chase or growing a living thing up, feeding and caring for it until you lead the trusting animal to his appointment with a hammer? Nice video.

ok, little steps I guess. Yes, I do eat meat. Not often though and I do not eat meat of 'non - farmed' animals. I basically try to interfere less with nature. But that is a different story.
What makes me sad and angry is that humans, in 2009 still kill to boost their self - esteem or fight the boredom in their life. This is a beautiful animal, and you stole its' life for your own pleasure. It's the act of a coward and there's nothing to be proud of. Yes the Kudu is beautiful, but now, it's dead.

Every breath you take denies oxygen to another animal, every grain you consume denies another being the right to eat. So dont try to satisfy your false guilt of existence by denying what you area part of nature. I believe it is wise to not be greedy and take more than should but it is also wise to understand your role in nature...a steward or care taker. Ensuring a sustainable resource is such as wildlife is kept in balance as an interwoven system is one of mans greatest challenges.
