Nope, just regular match grip. My kit is a Tama Starclassic Performer, standard sizes (5X14 snare, 10X12 tom, 16X16 floor tom, and a 16X22 bass drum). I have Remo pinstripe heads on them and the remo rings on the toms, which I definately recommend because they make them sound so much better.

It was all good except one missing crash hit during one of the verses and the part between the bridge and the outro. Nearly everything is missing there.
