@ bluemoonboy.....Joe played in the studio with quite a variety of folks...he also hosted "Town Hall Party" in the mid/late '50's from LA. This could be footage from THP...I didn't notice. If you like the stuff that Joe did....watch for Deke Dickerson whenever he swings by your area. Deke worshipped the ground that Joe walked on and he pays homage to Joe through most everything that he plays.

What kind of guitar is the guitarist playing? The top neck looks like a mandolin.

@imthedorf1964 You got it right... Joe Maphis is playing a custom double-neck.. Mandolin tuning on top... guitar on the bottom.
