I reject the bible as being inerrant because it does not show God as having perfect moral character. It should, but it doesn't. Here's SOME verses.
Numb 31:37-40, Ezek 9:5-7, Isa: 13:15-18, Ex 12:29, 32:26-29, Judg 10:7, 1 Sam 15:3, Deut 20:16, Josh 10:28-43, Hosea 13:16, Kings 8:12, Psalm 137:9
Let me know if you'd like more. There's HUNDREDS!!! This stuff is sick & totally contradicts God as having perfect moral character, which He must have, if He's God, IMO.

the bible has much to say about the reconciliation of all things.
It is God's 'will' that all come to repentance.
The reason I reject eternal hell is because it makes no sense. Maybe I'm wrong, but even if I am, I doubt very much that people will be in torment for all freaking eternity. That's a cruel fate that NO ONE DESERVES.
Death, we deserve. Punishment, we deserve. Eternal torment... not a chance.
Not even Hitler

@djemil5 Hi. I agree that if people don't go to Heaven then they'll 'go to hell'. My question is, what does that really mean?
Is hell a literal fire where they will burn alive FOREVER?
Is it a place of outer darkness where they will live FOREVER?
My point is simple. If hell is eternal, then hell is unjust.
If God can save us, He can save them.
If they go to hell, why wouldn't they cry out for mercy & if they did, why would God ignore them?

@djemil5 Ugh. Are you kidding me?
Look what you just said regarding Deut 22
Your argument here is that God wanted to 'live' with His people, but in order to do that, they must stone their wives if they were found not to be virgins because they must purge the evil from Israel
So if I was an isrealite back then & I married a girl & found she wasn't a virgin. God, who is Holy, JUST, Good, Loving, Merciful, Righteous, Sovereign & Perfect says that I should THROW ROCKS AT HER UNTIL SHE'S DEAD?

Lighmane - regarding your statement about Hell and Question about Burnt Offerings, Here are the answers:
God is Eternal, so is Heaven - If a person is not in Heaven - where do you think they go? Clue - It's the oppossite of Heaven.

Regarding Burnt Offerings: But Samuel replied: "Does the LORD delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as in obeying the voice of the LORD? To obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed is better than the fat of rams. 1 Samuel 15:22. See also Psm 51:16

In order to justify eternal hell, you've also got to explain how you can live in heaven with such knowledge & if you won't be aware of it, you have to justify a deceptive God. Will God be aware of souls in hell? Of course. How sick is that?
You have to explain to me how you could live in heaven if your dad or mom or son or daughter went to hell forever.
Good luck with that.

Next, you've got to explain why God would make a sick place like hell, KNOWING that BILLIONS of souls would end up there, unless of course it's temporary, which is what I believe.
You have to explain how God is JUST if He NEVER STOPS PUNISHING SINNERS FOREVER!!!
Temporal sins = Eternal Punishment? Why?
Next, if children go to heaven, then it seems that killing them b4 they reach the 'age of accountability' would be a really good thing to do, so now you've got murder being a good thing

If people, who never heard of Jesus, go to heaven for recognizing 'the light of creation', then you've got Jesus dying in vain and 'preaching the gospel' as a means to condem them. If Hell is eternal, then God is sick, cruel, disgusting & apparently enjoys 'the smoke of their torment'
I guess He likes burnt offerings too huh?
God, this is sick.

Lighmane - I accidentally removed your comment about Deut 22 when I was looking to click relpy. However, here is the answer: Important to remember In Deut 22 the reasons are as follows:
You must purge the evil from Israel.
You must purge the evil from among you.

Lightmire Do you understand why this is?
Answer It was always Gods intention to live with his People. But they never did kept what He Commanded.

burn in hell for ever..who told you thats literal?? Its not, its an analogy of how crappy it will be that we can understand...believe me it will be worse than being in fire forever though...hell is the eternal ETERNAL separation from God, a conscious 1 Fires & lakes of fire is God speaking to our level as finite beings...fire is definitely one of if not the worst ways to die, fitting to use as an example.if i had more room id include verese..but an easy search online will help u
