The three points of palpation in a ear case are:1.Tragus for tragal tenderness for involment of the external ear canal, 2. The Cymba Conchae for tenderness due to involment of the mastoid antrum whihc lies about 14 mm deep and the surface landmark of which is the McEvans triangle and 3. The mastoid itself for involement of the mastoid in mastoiditis.
