I'm a big fan of the longboats, never owned on though.......... but for the last few years i've been working in the New Ireland Province of PNG..... they are the only type of boat you see up there......... and man do they cart some loads, when the locals are hopping between islands etc..........

@porkhunt Thanks Mate, Its a Southern Star 580UB, 1 of the best boats we have had so far, the low sides are really handy to have aswell because we are divers and it makes it easier to jump in and out of.
