How to make the characters work at stepmania!!

--------------------------------------READ FIRST THE DESCRIPTION!!-------------------------------------------------
if you dont understand the video:
1.go to http://stepmaniathings.com/downloads/characters/-required-bones-and-helper-fi...
2. download it, then, a pop-up will show, then click OPEN not SAVE
3.wait until it finishes, then, the files will show-up
4.select all and then click [ALT+E]
5. put it on your stepmania character folder [DO NOT CREATE ANOTHER FOLDER ON THE CHARACTER FOLDER IN STEPMANIA FILE, JUST LEVE IT THERE DONT PUT IT ON ANOTHER FOLDER I REPEAT JUST LEAVE IT THERE!]
6. and then, your done! good to go!

it doesnt work. everytime i get a char. and go to start the game, it crashes nd i have to uninstall n reinstall it 2 get it back again (stepmania 5)

Hahaha i do this and stepmania says this:The redirect 'Characters/Als DX Rage/Rest/Rest.redir' references a file 'Characters/_DDRPC_common_Rest
.bones.txt' which doesn't exist. -

I haven't updated this. and i have tried this on stepmania 5. i think this one is for the lower stepmania.

hey, may i ask a question? well, i downloaded bones+helper, i extracted it.. then, i put all the files there in the characters folder. then, when i played stepmania, the character showed up.. but the character is not in the middle of the screen.. i cant see her/his head when the game start.. is there any adjustments need to change? please reply.. please.. thank you.

@24kojiful Maybe theres a missing file, try re-installing it.

thanks this help a lot u know how get so save's the high score as not show them atm just 0000000 all the time
