@felynecomrade if you read some of the things on the emperor he has a hand to play with loyalist warp travel something along the lines of helping stall the advance of chaos through the warp and calming the effects of warp storms in different parts of the galaxy im still a novice so they might have changed this
-
@Imperial5555 Warp travel is possible for loyalists because of 3 things: Warp engines, the Astronomicon and navigators (mutants sensitive to the flow of the Warp. I guess Chaos forces can get through the Warp because they're guided by the Chaos gods. The eldar and dark eldar use the Webway, orks use stolen or copied technology. Everyone else doesn't use Warp travel.
I don't think the emotions in the Warp dissapate after a certain amount of time. Maybe they change or get weaker.
-
@felynecomrade well the emperor is the one making travel through the warp possible for most if no all races he goes the entire imperium and most of the galaxy would be sucked into the warp or thats what the writers say asfor feeding nurgle that makes sense but i dont think the emotion will last longer than a few seconds so maybe your right there might not be as much despair as much as the emotions the imperium shows daily
-
@Imperial5555 The death of the Emperor would most likely be covered up. Faith in the Emperor is what unites the entire human race, as it has for over 10,000 years. It's a religeon 5 times older than Christianity followed by well over 1,000 times more people. If you told someone the Emperor was dead, they'd probably kill you on the spot.
As for the sorrow and despair, I imagine the emotions would be absorbed into Nurgle, making Him the strongest god.
-
@felynecomrade yeah so have i but i heard they were using a exiled group of super psykers gathered under the pretense of "the final battle against chaos" but in reality they were going to be sacrificed and their powers offered to the emperor.as for the fifth god its said he would be born because of the loss of the emperor and the sudden absence of his psyker effect on the galaxy so wouldnt the death of him send sorrow and despair through the people strong enough to create one
-
@Imperial5555 There already is a God of Despair: Nurgle. As for the Chaos god formed from Humanitie's demise, let's look at the Imperium as a whole, what emotions are most prevalent? Faith, hatred, self-righteousness, mistrust, fear, and repression come to mind. Those would be the characteristics of the formed Chaos god.
I heard there's a top-secret plan within the Imperium to sacrifice the Emperor's direct sons so their esence will be absorbed with His, thus restoring the Emperor.
-
@Imperial5555 Chaos gods are essentially the same as daemons, only MUCH bigger, stronger, and dangerous. Becasuse of this, it takes a tremendous amount of emotion to create a Chaos god. During The Fall, almost the entire Eldar race indulged in satisfying thier every desire, including the evil ones. The Eldar fell into sadism, lust, desire and greed. This energy came together in the form of Slaanesh, Prince of Pleasure.

@felynecomrade ah so if the emperor dies and another warp is created sorrow and despair would grip the imperium worlds and create a God of absolute despair? now my choice between imperium and chaos is a little deeper now then again its just a game but the philosophies they've mixed in are intrapping im a libra so i weigh my options to the utmost degree
I like this, this is very... insanely awesome. The only thing I don't get is what is this for?
