Lipstadt is supposedly a historian. She believes the black propaganda that ILSE KOCH MADE LAMPSHADES OUT OF HUMAN SKIN. Shock and horror are appropriate. Note that General Lucius Clay specifically said the lampshade tales were false in explanation of his decision to commute Ilse Koch’s sentence.

As you can see, Lipstadt’s expressed opinion doesn’t accord with the current nizkor line which says the Germans made some soap from dead bodies and used it to clean operating rooms (dead body soap! What better to clean operating rooms with? LOL)

Strangely, Lipstadt claims to believe in Ilse Koch’s human skin lampshades, which General Lucius Clay, who commuted Ilse’s sentence, clearly said was a falsehood.
