http://tourvideos.com The medieval cathedral at Chartres is one of the most beautiful and important gothic monuments in Europe, and the historic village surrounding the church is also wonderful to explore.
@magnusalexa wow, when i was there i had a "miraculous" experience as well. as the man said in the video, the church is quite dark. i was walking along the right corridor when i saw some stairs leading to a door with three windows. the windows were glowing very brightly and i knew that there was no natural way they could be doing that! this cathedral is my favorite in the world and i hope to visit this place again very soon!
@thegreatbasher when i was there while approaching the alter and looking at the cracks in the pentagram floor i thought to myself, "i wonder what has caused them cracks?" within a second i felt an earth tremor all around and under me, shaking the altar area.
One of the worlds most stunning examples of religious and secular architecture! I was lucky enough to vist many years ago and I really liked walking round the large maze on the floor. So simple, elegant and stunning in everyway.
lovely..visited there about 1995..where are the visitors from?
