  • @mndandy These guys are good jazz musicians and they handle rock and pop as well

  • He's fabulous on the sticks but it has to be said, drum solo's are quite tedious.

  • @stand49 This video is from an Australian tour but they were a UK band, formed in 1961. In 1964 they had 2 records on the UK Top 40, so there's a good chance they did play in the UK in '64!

  • Not to everybody. I'm a bass player rather than a drummer, but I can enjoy a good drum solo.

    This is a very energetic performance. I know that they were young men then, but they must still have been exhausted by the time they finished.

  • Even though it takes a lot of skill, basically drum solos are boring.

  • Later on in the decade Tony Newman later briefly played in the Jeff Beck group. Top drummer!
