The children she has helped was amazing and she seemed to know who needed her the most. She was a working dog and for years would volunteer her services to hospitalized patients. It's wonderful to see patients' eyes light up when a dog or pet enters their room. It's like Medicine!

Hi Lana. We had a basset hound that was so cute, but he was a big 75 lb boy. He passed two years ago of cancer, but we took him to have his nails clipped about every three weeks. He was such a biter as an abused dog prior to us adopting him. The only girl that didn't have to put the party hat on him passed in the Virginia Tech shooting tragedy a couple of years ago. Emily was so good with him and he liked her for some reason, but he always got the party hat otherwise:) Earl sends his kisses.

that is precious about your dog :) i think i'm like your dog :) i might bite if provoked ;) *wink* and i used to always visit the nursing homes when i was a little one. i really have a heart for the elderly and disabled. Also for children very much so. i've worked with elderly or with children all of my working days :)
