Ratchet and Clank a crack in time Boss battle vs Azimuth! pt 1

Here it is, the epic battle against your mentor Alister Azimuth. And man is it fun, it totally makes up for the Nefarious boss battle. Azimuth is much more challenging and very deadly. Something I really love about this game in boss fights is that all your weapons effect the boss. I was so suprised when the disco ball actually worked on Azimuth.

Anyways how did I beat him, well in the beginning I totally failed. Like when I was switching weapons I made a couple screw ups. Apart from that I found it easiest to use time bombs, then switch to disco ball(Groove bomb), and then use your Cyro Mine glove. I think if you have the weapon called Mag-net it also helps slow him down, but I didn't bother to buy it. Anyways while he's stuned use your Dyanmo of Devastion. It does huge amounts of damage and you can charge it do to the amount of lag he is currently suffering. And if your a bit more skilled you can snipe him in his weakspots.

For the second phase where Azimuth starts going around the arena and bombing you, I found using the buzz blades was very useful. Since the home on to him and hit him repeatedly. You could probably get in a couple constructo bombs on him too if your good enough. Once he stops moving just start shooting at him once again. I also reccomend having Mr.Zurkon out with you. That way he'll shoot at Azimuth as well.

When the cutscene comes in off the time chamber starting to fall apart thats when azimuth gets a little more agressive. He'll start deflecting your blast from your Constructo Pistol, so make sure to stop shooting when he reflects them. Once he's done reflecting just start to shoot again. Another thing he starts to do is dash into you with an electrical force on his hover boots. Just simply jump to the side or strafe around it. The key for the dashes is that he always takes some time to charge. Thats your main chance to do some real damage. If your good enough at sniping, you can hit him in his chest (critical area) and do some good damage before he even touches you. If you want to slow him down, throw some time bombs as he charges and use any left over Disco balls on him. Then take him down with The Negotiator(rocket launcher).

Still dying eh? What level are your weapons? Perhaps getting weapons like the Negotiator to max level will help.

Also use the disco ball as much as you can.
