bingo. get someone that can drive the gixxer and its no contest.. a gixxer 600 can smoke a renegade if you put a good driver that knows how to launch. that 1000 should have been knocking on 100mph in that distance no problem. im saying this out of experience on both

Of course the GSXR is gonna win. An on-road vehicle vs an off-road vehicle, ON ROAD. Different machines for different purposes. I guarantee that GSXR would eat the Renegade for breakfast on pure speed, but I'm sure the Renegade has a lot more bottom end torque and muscle for things like towing, mudding, and various stuff like that. Different machines for different purposes, each will out perform the other in it's intended environment. Have a race off-road and see who will get there quicker.

@robscherer123 Oops my mistake, i thought the gsxr was a 600. Being that is a 1000, well that can am might as well been peddal powered. The 1000 puts out 160hp and 70ft-lbs at the wheels. Not even a race

@robscherer123 Actually the bottom end torque #'s are pretty much the same. Both are low to mid 40's ft-lbs... When it comes to HP the gsxr destroys the renegade with just over 100hp. The guy on the bike was just a bad rider or maybe he felt bad and wanted to give the can-am a head start. Bottom line Can-Am = Over weight underpowered...

So many butt hurt faggots here. Of course a gsxr 100 will outrun any quad out there. They are both made for different purposes. Have them race offroad through mud holes and stuff. Let's see who smokes who then! :)

That is correct, you would need a stabaliser or a rolling start but who the fuck has either of thoughs at a set of traffic lights?!!!!!! The point of this video was to show that the Renegade has everything beat on pure accelleration to 60mph. Of course the street bike will win after this but at 60mph the race is over. Accelleration is what it is about!!!
