They come because you are the most charming, poetic and eloquent person who both entertains and touches people deeply with your words and music. It's nothing but a throwaway comment by an artist whom I've admired for going on 50 years, but whom you have cheapened by raving about an offhand remark he made in a badly-recorded interview.

for more than 25 years i have been listening to his songs, reading his poems. when i was young and suffering from depression he saved me and thus became a part of my life i cannot and will not separate from me.

i am a cohen too but it makes no difference, it has no influence - his words and thoughts are what counts.

i am afraid of the day i will have to read that he has left us ...
