When i made one of them it was not THAT GOOD it was ER, how long did you take it to make ??????????
love your cakes. what do you use for the ruffles?
babshush 1 year ago 12
@babshush thank you - the ruffles are made from frilling fondant. There's a video on youtube that shows how to make a doll cake & shows frilling fondant with a frill cutter. Not exactly the way I do it but very similar. Search 'princess cake' & there's one from FilmCoUk (?)

Didnt you already make her a 4th Birthday cake a long time ago? Wouldn't she be turning 5?

@fingerfan112 this was for my daughter's friend who was turning 4 - not for my daughter who had already turned 4 a while ago ; )

I absolutely love how your dolls turn out...i really want to make one for my friends she loves barbies....and she is all grown up...lol but i want to know do you use a full doll or just a torso doll. Again wonderful job....thanks

@alacia32 I always use a full doll - I dont take the legs off. Search 'doll cakes' on youtube and there are great videos that show how to make doll cakes. I just added my own style to it ; )
