it's Dr. Zaius, get out of the forbidden zone!

I seen the friend before your text came out about the it.
And it's always the case.
When a human is close by, to hide their bodies outline, they will huddle together to mimic a bush or rock.
Remember this, BIG TIME!
In smaller pines, during the night, the biggest will stand up, and the others will come to it's sides, basically forming the same shape of a pine tree.
They've been doing this for centuries.
The scariest and spookiest part, what if you just so happened to walk up to them?

there is no way an animal that size can move through that kind of underbrush and not make NOISE If you're a hunter like I am, and you have heard deer, moose, elk, and bears go through the woods, If you've been sitting there quiet, it sounds like a freight train going by.

If you and other are getting pics and video of stuff like this. and it sure looks like you definately have something there Those things have to be more in number than anybody would think! Cuz that face is definately there!! It just freaks me out to think of all of the times I used to go out walking in the woods when I was a kid when we would vacation in the upper peninsula of Michigan that I probably walked by a number of these things... =(

Any Psycologist will tell you that our brain is programed to find or make out facial features in strange or odd patterns. Thats all this is. Just a reall spooky "random" pattern in the woods. Sorry.

be4 u look right, u can see it in the same spot but lower and u can only see half the face, look at the fork like branch that u see it next2, and when u look left again it has moved further up

By the looks of the lay of the land It would be laying down with just it's head poping up. Because from what I see that land is just about 2 feet below the face. SO maybe you caught him doing his daily psuh ups.

@joebblack1963 At first, I was tempted to dismiss this as another case of the brain trying to see patterns where none exist. But now, I'm not so sure. Pause the video at 1:51 and look just left of and slightly above the "face". It's the same color & texture as the face. This looks like it could be lying on the ground, legs pulled up and resting its chin on its left arm watching the camera and trying to stay very low-profile. Neat video!

wow compelling video, i like that the first time you pan to the left there was no face i was lookin real hard then u pan right and come back to the left and there it was clear as day and i know how badly cameras can distort faces but this is fairly clear awesome vid

Wishful thinking.
its something i guess, what i'd like to know is why we only see the head on these creatures and not to body, if they are so huge looks like we catch the body instead of the head.

This behavior of only sticking the head up is well documented, They will crouch or squat in brush piles, thick foliage then peak out, many times they will hide their face with leaves or behind a limb, I think this guy stuck his head out because I was actually behind the trees but I was slowly panning so my cam was out to my left, so It stuck its head out to find me, I have followup video just minutes later where the face is gone, so once it got its looked it ducked back into the brush...

Theres no doubt in my mind Scott ! Did you by chance go to the exact spot to look for any depressions or hair ? It could be a very old one and wasnt as camera shy.

Yes, I have done follow-up, you could see where it was sitting, but I could not find hair, no foot prints, I need to string a series of vid together showing my follow-up on this guy...The only hair I have found is the two batches back on the 8/01 sighting
