@oneloveyalls snap city!

Hey, can you give us exercises for MMA?

@oneloveyalls You need to find a physical therapist that can help you with a rehab-program. This isn't something any 'youtube-therapist' will be able to help you with. @strengthcamp is a very good coach and has a lot of knowledge but to be able to help you he would need to take a look at your shoulderblade. No one can cure you based on a oneliner in the comment section of a coaching-clip. See a specialist ASAP before your condition get's worse!

Sarcoplasmic and Myofibral Hypertrophy are two completely different things. This is a distinction that Arthur Jones, Mike Mentzer and all of their clones could never make. Jones said that an increase in strength would naturally be due to the size of the muscle increasing. I guess he and Mentzer were unfamiliar with Oly lifting and powerlifting where huge strength increases happen with little size increase. Sarcoplasmic= Serge Nubret circa 1970s. Myofibral= Casey Viator circa late 70s.

@Salvat1onHD lol I think YOU got it backwards.

Yo Elliot! just a question, ive always had the perception that doing high reps of medium weight exercises (ex. high rep body weight pullups) would increase the muscle density, is this not correct?. Ive always done both types of workouts, but when i do high reps and medium weight i always do it in an explosive manner, how does this affect the muscle structure in terms of strength and density? and one last question..which type of workout u mentioned above actually assists in burning more fat?

Yo Elliot! Good video! I never knew about this info but I tend to do a mix of the sarcoplasmic hypertrophy and myofribrullar hypertrophy. I noticed that I have a lot of strong muscle fiber but I don't look that big so if I want to equal it out then I'll just start doing more reps for some of the sets that I do. Keep up the great videos!

I think you got it backwards, doing high reps increases muscle density(type I slow twitch red muscle fibers), and doing low reps gives you sort of large puffy muscles (type IIa fast twitch white fibers) type IIb is hybrid muscle, In another video I noticed that you had to correct yourself because you had mixed up the muscle fiber types, you had said that slow twitch was white and fast twitch was red, did you do the same thing here? not trying to insult you, I'm a big fan of your videos.
where'd the dry-erase board go??? crazy awesome info man
