  • Painfully, majestically, and indescribably Beautiful --- almost entirely heart; in fact, the notes are all but incidental.

    BTW: I love Diana Krall's version too, but only a Chet Baker, who lived a life of genuine pleasures and torments, could take an already exceptional EC song/lyrics like this and cast it to such new and ineffable heights.

    A superb job by Harold Danko on the piano, too.
