FYI Rome army is not the house of Julii, it's S.P.Q.R= senat and People of Rome. go to any campagin in RTW and you will see S.P.Q.R are in Rome not the house of julii

Does anyone have any idea what language the Carthaginian General and the Gauls with the ladders speak? It both sounds vaguely like butchered german to me.
-
@DrJanketic Actually, it's two songs, and they're both from the RTW original soundtrack. The first one is "Journey to Rome", the second one is "Melee Cafe".
-
Whats the name of the song! I must find this one!
-
1:30 always blow my mind

Hands down to the best intro in video game history.
-
(continued, thumbs up if you agree on both my comments so everyone can see)
Just imagine playing as a samurai warlord and fighting an ever expanding Roman empire.
OR being in command of the indian kingdom that brought alexander the great's army to its knees at the battle of Hydaspes? OR playing as the etruscans or one of the latin or sabine cities and battling Rome for control of Italy?!
Or hell even playing as Epirus and fighting greece and macedon for control of Greece!
Thumbs up if u agree.

Okay here is what I want for Rome 2 total war.
I want a game where U can select the year and empire u want to be, ex: 3,000 BC and ur the Sumerians or ancient egyptians.
Then as the game moves on u see other nations "emerge" ex: 1,500 BC Mycenaeans emerge, etc.
OR
I can select the year 1,500 BC and play as the Mycenaeans or 500 BC and play as the Babylonians or chinese.
I want HISTORICAL accuracy and accurate units.
I want to play as Alexander the great and conquer china!
Thumbs up if u agree.

Rome Total War has the best time period, but I preferred Shogun Total War and Medieval Total War gameplay over Rome.

@Kardanwelle1994 I don't really understand this attitude, Steam is by far and away the best PC gaming platform/DRM. I'd much rather have Steam than the DRM that other studios put in their games - Steam allows you to play the same game on multiple PCs with no need for discs, you can chat with friends in-game and easily find multiplayer matches, Steam automatically patches your games, the Steam store is an easy (if not cheap) way to get new games... I don't see what's so bad about it!
