Killer 2100 reduces network lag and latency by classifying all the network traffic inside the PC, identifying the traffic associated with online games and prioritizing it over all other networking traffic. Other network cards process network traffic on a "first in, first out" basis, which is why they are commonly referred to as "dumb NICs". This is not optimal for online games, since game traffic is ultra time sensitive and will hold up your game if it is not processed immediately. Killer 2100 is an "intelligent" NIC, so it understands the different kinds of network traffic and actually processes game data up to ten times faster than a standard network card, reducing lag and latency and giving you maximum networking performance for online games.

  • @chaosquall1

    ok, thanks

  • @idontknowwhatnicktou because it offloads cpu usage from networking tasks and offloads it onto the npu chip

  • @chaosquall1

how can network latency affect fps?

  • in other words it´s the same kind of hardware with better software..

  • the card itself is great, but is this commercial for real?!

  • @chaosquall1 wow GREAT

  • @aStupidTroll no troll it made up to 15ms diffrence and around +5fps. The software alone is worth the price.

  • @chaosquall1 lawl 3 ms diffrence ?

  • @chaosquall1 It would if you used default settings be for installing the software

  • @peekayboo i have the xeon pro and i can honestly say it made a diffrence from onboard by quite a bit
