Ode to Palpatine: Angels

This is my first music video, inspired by the work of art by a friend of mine.

All the video comes from Star Wars: Episodes II, III, and VI.

All the movie audio comes from Star Wars: Episode III.

The song is Angels by the greatest symphonic metal band in existence: Within Temptation (rock on!).

I do not own any of them and would appreciate an abstinence of suing. I did not make any money off of this, just spent a lot of time and effort!

I think this is still debatable. Yes, Palpatine manipulated the situation. The reason Mace actually almost defeated Palpatine is in his fighting style, wich comes close to the fringes of the dark side (you see hatred in his face, unlike most jedi) & when fighting sith he actually becomes stronger as he progresses. I'm writing a fanfic on Palpatine & hopefully I'll fit all of this in.(why wasn't he discovered by the jedi at birth?).

Now after long thinking i dont think Mace actualy got Palpatine when they fought. You do see that Anakin ran in. I think that Palpatine Sceened it all couse he knew that Anakin loves Padme 2 much just let them kill him. And he needed Anakin to go bad so he had sceened that he was 2 weak and powerless.... He could have killed Mace as fast as he killed other jedi but Anakin prolly wouldn't have joined him than... What can u say he's a smart guy :). Join the Dark side we've got Lightshow :)

Venstal is right. Mace was just a better lightsabre fencer. Mace probably would have slain Ol' Palpatine if young Skywalker hadn't turned on him and cut off his sabre hand.

Which brings up another point: what is it with Lucas and his protagonists getting their hands chopped off? You could almost do drinking game where you take a shot everytime a Star Wars character gets a limb cut off...
