when people ask me if i am mixed with something just because i am black with long hair it pisses me off because i know those are the kind of people who are very hypocritical and think black women and girls cant have LONG hair...

60 percent of blacks are actually are mixed. just because someone's phenotype black doesn't mean they are 100 percent black. Race does make a difference on hair growth as other races do grow out slightly faster and has less adversities than black women who are 100 percent genetically black.

@crystalroselove Wow it is amazing how my regimen has changed over two years. I now put organic/virgin coconut oil in my hair everyday, not Chi Silk Infusion. :)

I need some advice! My hair does not fall back into place even though I am taking your advice. My roots have not been retouched and I have a 1" flat iron. I cannot flatted my roots! any tips?

@quitejaded To flatten my roots when they have grown out, I use the "dominican blowout" technique on my hair if I really want my roots as straight as possible after my relaxer has grown out. I will do a video on the technique on my page at some point soon. I think there are other videos on youtube about how to do the blowout on your hair as well.

@tykeisha620 Hey tykeisha620! When I lived in NY, I went to Sisters Unisex on Lawrence Street in Brooklyn, NY. It is a Dominican salon. I loved it!
