i know what your saying but the reason why gold is better than paper is because paper can just be printed over and over again causing inflation.... you cant print gold which keeps it more valuable in a way

Exactly, something does have to be the currency, but the only reason it isn't chickens and cows is because they are difficult to transport and don't lend themselves well to mathematical and abstract valuation, since they have concrete use-values which may interfere in making judgements. As a mode of exchange, it doesn't much matter what is used. Whether yellow pebbles or green paper, not relevent. Oh ya, and you need to read up on history. Capitalism has always had crisis.

RIght, right. Do me a favor and read up on value theory. It doesn't much matter if what material currency is made from, it's just a specialized commodity. BTW, all that crap about the Fed is just monetarist gibberish, splitting hairs about nothing. Fed or no Fed, capitalism has periodic cycles of crisis.

How exactly does enacting a gold standard and removing the federal reserve makes us magically richer? Granted, he does have many policies which are wonderfully principled, but they carry the caveat of his extremely right-wing economic policies.

no Ron Paul does not want to create a depression.... he wants to for one example... end the federal reserve and return to gold money... which will make the country richer and get us out of debt... he also want to stop our troops from fighting secret and meaningless wars which will save alot of money.... he also want to abolish the IRS.....

Look, the thing that has been pointed out is that Ron Paul and anarchists want two totally opposed things.  Ron Paul wants a return to the social institution that marked the 19th century in America. Tenement houses, robber barons, Boss Tweed, and all that.

i don't think they want the same things but i think in their own minds they want freedom......... like in some ppls minds not gnna mention any political figures but it seems kind of like they want slavery of humanity
