  • I see this is one of your older videos. ;)

How do you do that border thing...at the border of the screen. Where it looks burnt. Is that made in Adobe after effects? Or can sony vegas do it too?

  • its a picture that was chroma keyed and was customized by diffrent FX, and you cannot make it in vegas, or AE i think, you can make em in Photoshop.

Thanks man. It will be helpful to have someone else's incite other than my own, especially an experience one. Since I'm going through my research paper for English and ap Government right now, and I'm studying for ap exams, I'll begin learning how to edit amv's in about 2-3 weeks from now. Until then, I'll guess I'll focus on getting the software I'll need for editing. Thanks for the encouragement. ^_^

  • lol... dude if you have any questions... about editing just ask me... and we will talk like best friends, Because i remember the time when i was a beginner just like you and everyone ignored me, but now everyone's starting to acknowledge me, and i started off by making friends, then i saw there vids, then i got the software, then i learned the software through the tutorials and then i dloaded clips and then started editing, and with determination by my side, i made an amv. And got popular.

I'm trying to gather information in what I would need to do it, but I suppose the only real way to learn is through experience and practicing. With that idea in mind, I would like to ask how you started off. What did you work on? Thanks. I'll stop bothering you now. ._.

Well, yeah, you can always improve on anything. But I've taken a liking to your latest amvs. overKLOCKED was amazing.

I do have a Black Lagoon amv I want to do, and I also have it planned out to where I know what every beat will show and how it should transition to another scene in every drum beat. However, even though I know what I want it to look like and which scenes to choose and where, the problem is actually doing it. I have no idea how to do half the stuff I want to do.:/

Thanks for the info. I'm planning on getting into editing. I've watched a lot of amvs and I'm getting the urge to make some, but I don't want them to turn out bad. All the things needed to make amvs like you do, though, look so complicated and in depth. It's really amazing actually. Keep up with the videos. I'll be sure to watch them ;)
