This is not a good test. It can be okay for 10 minutes and then all of a sudden start coming out of proximity mode and trying to go into facetime and loudspeaker. You don't notice it when you first have the phone, you need to have a long convo on the mobile to notice it.

I have had the iPhone 4 from day one and have not had one problem. And when I look at the display on my old 3GS that my wife now has, it's such a difference, I can't imagine life without the iPhone 4 now.

I live in London and almost every single call that lasts more than 5 minutes gets dropped by me either hanging up, or dialing voice mail, or calling someone else!

I've had my iPhone 4 from day of release in the UK and have not had a problem with the proximity sensor. Strange that it's mostly the Americans that are having the problem. I brought the bumper case from day one as well, so no problem with reception either.
