@Keepskatin I really love it; we're about to do a comparison tasting of the 3 cold brew methods we have right now (Hourglass, Hario & Sowden) to see which performs the best. - Kat

Cold brew is the best coffee in the world,never a bitter taste and more than 60% less acid. Coffee is natural acidic ,but this device reduces the acid levels.

That is a shame that the Hourglass was discontinued! It looks so cool, and reviews said it made a great cup of coffee.

@JosephandElissa It did, but the design was faulty and there were a lot of leakage and warping complaints from customers. They were going to redesign it a bit and then decided to go back to the drawing board completely. So hopefully something better will appear soon :) - Kat

@SeattleCoffeeGear Thanks for letting me know! I ended up contacting the company and they said they are working on something for 2012. I am interested in what they will come out with, as the other cold brewers aren't aesthetically pleasing. I know the end cup is what is important, but if you have to keep this out for a day it should look nice on your counter. Thanks for all the videos you post! I am a subscriber now and have used your reviews in my purchasing decisions!

@JosephandElissa They were all great performers, with different benefits. The Hourglass has been discontinued so you could take that off your list (I should probably take this video down) :D - Kat
