Obama & Rahm Emanuel are PLANNING A DRAFT for those 18-25 (a.k.a. "Universal Service)

Think Obama is going to end the war? Nope. In fact, he is already planning a draft. It's called "universal service," but it is a draft. Males and femals, regardless of health conditions or beliefs, WILL BE REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE if they are between the ages of 18 and 25.

@esiosan if congress feels a need for a military draft i am all for it but this mandatory civil service for 18-25 year olds sounds like the hitler youth or brown shirts!! creepy as hell and i would go to jail before i would allow obama to force my into that kind of thing. (if i were in that age group still) i have 17 years of military service and i hope he doesnt get re-elected or i will have to wait until he is out of office to retire..i dont want his signature on my certificate!

Education and "basic training" are two different things before you point out that school is mandatory and even school has a "home school" option as a safeguard against a systematic indoctrination. America was founded on the principle that you have the right to hate, fear, and stand as an armed dissenting American citizen just because it is your opinion that your gov't isn't how you want it. We call it freedom. We're steadily losing it apparently.

There's no sugarcoating what Rahm is saying here. It's just another way for government to exact control over the people. Getting us used to it so it becomes easier to pass more legislation that further binds us to the will of Washington. We should make contracts detailing what law-makers can and cannot do, and force them to sign it if they want the votes. Make lying and hypocrisy impeachable offenses. I'm sick of representatives who refuse to represent the majority of their constituents.

Just so all of you know, certain members of congess and the senate have been trying to reinstate the draft since 2003. H.R. 163 in the house came to a 402 -2 vote. Only two voted for it so don't worry about it. It was Rep. Charles Rangel's bill and he even voted against it. Don't ask me why. The guy is strange. He's been trying to pull this shit for years. Not gonna happen. God bless the troops. Hope they're all home soon which is where they belong. It's just a bunch of garbage.
