@ghostraven99 now thats a classical christian fence sitting contradiction,on the one hand you want to pray for them to stop whaling on the other hand your praying for those that kill the whales your nothing but a fence sitter,the most evil of creatures,i bet your a secret politician,admit it or damn your soul.

@MrLozboogie if i could stop the killing of all animals i would, but seeing as the only animal we are talking about is the whale which happens to be endangered <they know from these funny little things called mating areas> we should try not to kill them all.. and as far as a real impact on nature? we have changed nature greatly since we got a foot hold, if you cannot see that your dumber then i thought.. but that is not surprising..

They volunteer for a worthy cause. UNLIKE the whale poachers who are "so honest" that they're pretending this is all for science.

The SSCS is there for several goals, the key one is PUBLICITY. To open eyes and raise awareness on what's happening in the Whale sanctuary.

Then and only then will laws be changed. People have been blind to all this and that's how the japanese wanted to keep it.

They've even fought the wide spread release of "The Cove" in Japan, violently against their own people

The Sea Shepherds hit where it hurts. As we all know by now, Whales are very susceptible to toxins (just like mercury). Well, when the japanese kill a whale, the Shepherds use the legally harmless "stink bombs" to taint the meat so the whalers can't profit from it. So now they've spent the costs of fuel, salaries for their men, food & supplies, whatever licenses, and bribes... and have nothing to show for it but bankruptcy.

This, PLUS the court battles, will bring it all to an end eventually

That has got to be so rough living on that ship for three months at a time. I think between all the puking and the three minute showers every third day we'd all smell horrific but for this cause I would definitely do it. Seriously, my hats off to these men and women, they do a lot of great work.
