I heard this group on SNL last night, and I was impressed. Usually I'm like, Oh another band, but I was really Impressed with this young lady and LOVE her voice. Yes, she reminds me a little of Janis J. and us who were around when Janis was singing appreciated her unusual gravelly whisky voice. But I haven't heard so far any song that I didn't like from this singer. So Power to you Girl and Keep it going... :-) (A little bit of Tracy Chapman story telling too)
