hate the vic like this, EastEnders has not only recked the history of the origanal design, but made the vic a diffrent place. its not the traditional east end pub, a resturant? no. also noticed that the toilets on the vic are now on the right, how does that work? there a ale on the right. and a cuboard on the 1st left door, how can there be room? i say get Sharon watts back in the vic to wave the flag for the origanal eastenders hard family.

dunno how anyone could hate Kat. I'm not super keen on Alfie, but know he & Kat seem to make a good pair. And Peggy has always been a diva. Perhaps Sharon Watts could do a one off. She owned The Vic too as you may recall in 2002

@ravenscheer23 I know; it's all far too self-aware. Everyone knew the hype surrounding the fact that the Vic was one of the first buildings in the Square to be rebuilt for HD, but the programme foolishly made too much of a fuss about it all with the over the top unveiling nonsense at the expense of its realism. In reality of course they'd never make such a fuss over a refit and a new paint job.

@ionaford1978 When EastEnders began, the Vic was just different shades of brown; dirtied over the years. It didn't have any red or green on it.

@pufferfishish ya me to it should of stayed red but on the first episode of eastenders the vic was shown and it was the same coulor it is in this video

Basically the same as the old one, only this one having shades of green instead of red. Can't notice any difference lol, although that's good. I would hate it being turned into something more roxy.
