Although torque was not measured, calculated torque is about 600 ft. lbs. To calculate torque, multiply horsepower by 5252 and divide by engine RPM. Not much done to this vehicle and still had good results for 200,000 miles.

  • @jrcbfun It's in Saint Charles, Missouri. The name of the place is First Capital 4WD, and yes they are open to the public.

  • how much did it cost too run it on the dyno we are going to dyno my cussin 99 dodge cummins 24v he has alot dun from a smarty to injetor's and we are dynoing my dads 7.3 the same day and we have a home made intake by my cusin at superior diesels his diesel shop to exsost ts 6 postion tuner great tuner lots of smoke and some other stuff i cant think of each have about $6000 in them best truck's to by dodge 5.9 and 7.3 powerstroke

  • They charged $75.00 for 4 runs.

  • Wow! I thought it would more then 285 HP

  • Yeah, I thought it would be higher too. The way the truck looks like it wants to jump off the dyno and go made me think it would be more.

  • Have you dynoed her on alternatives such as w85?

  • Dude youve got some serious axle wrap

  • das auto hat style!

  • nice truck! I like big diesels !

    We have a BMW 535d with 306bhp from a 3litre diesel :D !

  • I believe a dyno is required to measure both torque and rpm in order to calculate HP, suggesting you may have been misinformed.

  • @RockinGuy1994 Diesels are known for their monster amounts of torque, not horsepower...perfect for towing or doing burnouts..haha..
