  • @pandamanparty

    From the Line 6 website:

"Behind each Voicing is the perfect recipe of dynamic analog circuitry (which includes tube configuration and negative feedback loop topology), and HD amp modeling technology (which fuels the preamp and tone stack)"

  • @citymusicsg 1.) you guys are so funny. 2) the amp actually has no modeling . it switches circuts every time you flip the voicing switich. which is really cool because they are real tones not digital

  • Thanks. It was quite an entertaining watch lol

  • @jonnywaffle6 The amp itself doesn't do much modeling). This amp lets you digitally control analog components withing the amp. The spidervalve was similar to running a pod into an amp (not exactly the same, but same idea)... WHen you plug in an HD pod the amp switches to the operating class, tube mode, and voicing required for that amp... Switching from a fender model to a high gain model on a spidervalve will NOT get you the same results as using the newer HD modeling units with this amp.

  • Would you say theres a big difference in tone between this and the spider IV amp?
