Descrizione : Realizzazione di un'acquaforte attraverso le varie fasi : Verniciatura con coprente a protezione della lastra di zinco - Esecuzione del disegno con una punta di acciaio che scopre il metallo nei segni tracciati - Immersione della lastra in una bacinella contenente acido nitrico diluito (morsura) , l'acido incide il metallo dove non protetto - Pulizia della lastra con petrolio o acquaragia - Inchiostratura : l'inchiostro viene distribuito uniformemente e penetra nei segni scavati - Pulitura della superficie della lastra - Asciugatura della carta precedentemente immersa in acqua - Posizionamento sul piano del torchio della matrice rivolta verso l'alto con sovrapposizione del foglio inumidito - Stampa calcografica su torchio a cilindri - La stampa sollevata delicatamente viene posta ad asciugare.
