airsoft and paint ball are both awesome i personally like paintball more but i play airsoft ten times more because it is cheaper and i can play it pretty much any where on the other hand paintball is more fun but cost a butt load of money to play all the time and the guns are more expensive and you have to buy more equipment.both are awesome but i rather play airsoft because i dont have a job im only 15

Airsoft is definatley more realistic. If you think airsofters are pussies because paintball hurts more, than maybe you should sprinkle razor blades on your cereal, drink scalding water, and stick your head in a beehive so you can feel so "tough". oh and by the way, most of us have played or still do play paintball. Or at least, i still do.

@mrtinkertoyboy You are a retard. Airsoft is used to train by military units, you have obviously very little information, both paintball and airsoft are used. Don't start an argument based on what only your unit does, airsoft is also recommended as therapy for veterans who have post-war paranoia because of the realism. Not paintball.

I've actually been shot literally point blank (2cm away from my skin) with a nice Tokyo Mauri (or however you spell it) air soft rifle and it hurt, but not bad enough that I couldn't walk or anything after. I was surprised actually at how little it hurt up close.

We dont use Airsoft. WE USE PAINTBALLS. WE ALSO use Military Simulation rounds that require our current weapons systems' barrels' to be replaced with a Blue barrel, simulation round still fired off with a primer tacked to a casing. and they break skin <50ft.
