War of the Worlds visits Hilton Head Island - Part II

I was awakened by flashes of light in my window at 2am. I thought it was maybe a police light outside but there was not any sound. I went to the window and all I could see were bright flashes of light on my neighbor's house. The flashes were from what ended up being a huge heat lightning storm in the opposite direction. Except for one giant cloud the sky was crystal clear and completely quiet - minus the sound of the neighbor's a/c unit and a bird that apparently thought it was dawn already. It was an amazing light show and worth getting up to watch. This video from my digital camera does not due the event justice but you can get the idea.
