BS Zelda Kodai no Sekiban Beginning

Me playing through the first dungeon in this rare Zelda game that was broadcast only twice(four times for each of the two years it was available) in Japan for the Satellaview. Because this is emulated and has been altered out of necessity to be played, some things that were broadcast live have been lost, such as the voices and most of the music, so I have added some music that was supposedly broadcast live while people played this game.

This happened after Link to the Past, when Link was away, possibly during Link's Awakening.

@BenHutchinson1 It isn't really a hack, though I don't think this game would be too hard to remake with hacking. It's actually an official Nintendo game that uses almost all of the same sprites and gameplay mechanics as LttP, and is more like an expansion pack that was never released outside Japan. You don't play as Link, instead you choose between a random boy or girl (Pokemon Crystal style) who goes out to save Hyrule, because Link isn't around to do it. Awesome game IMO.

Nintendo missed out on a big opportunity here. The Zelda series is by far one of their biggest cash cows and they could have very easily made millions and broke a few sales records by putting this one on the Virtual Console and marketing it as a "lost game".

Yeah really Link, and not some girl, should be rescuing Zelda.

And some text hack going on (wrong dialog), and some dungeon layout alterations. and music that keeps switching between a variety of different Zelda: A Link to the Past songs. and a sprite swap the pendant of courage, replacing it with a yellow block .

Yes it definitely is a hack of The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past

Oh my goodness. It looks like Zelda: A Link to the Past with a sprite swap for the main character (some anime girl instead of Link).

*AHEM* An interesting game though. The whole concept of the Satellaview intrigues me, I wonder how good this game is compared to other Zelda titles.... doesn't look too long, but it probably would've have been amazing to play this with the broadcasted music and voicing/cutscenes at the time
