Match Game 77 - Lights...camera...action! Uhh...I said 'lights', you dingbats!

Match Game opens in a somewhat dark studio. The primary stage lights come up as usual, but the chase lights around the door are not lit and the back wall lighting is dark as well. I know this has happened plenty of times before and there is nothing particularly funny or entertaining or whatever about this clip. I just think its quite odd the see the studio under darker than usual conditions.

That was the normal procedure during every opening.Notice at each star's announcement from johnny on the spinning orange sign the upper tier celebs are in spotlight with a dark backround. -Except this time the lighting guy was a few seconds late in his cue to turn up the rest of the lighting. The set should be fully lit when the camera gets to it, waiting for gene's entrance.
