I-90 Bridge - Expansion Joint Installation

On May 9, 2009 crews installed new 40-ton expansion joints in the I-90 floating bridge express lanes. The large steel joints help the bridge flex with the weather, water and traffic. haha.. this is job security for Kiewit Construction... they have been dinking around with this project since 1990 I-90 Lid was a mud hole back then. RIP Trailor Bros!
